How Zoho is caring for your data under the CCPA

As you may already know, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) goes into effect on January 1, 2020. This law gives California residents certain rights regarding their personal information and how it’s collected and used. It also places new obligations on companies to be transparent and accountable about what they do with customer data.

At Zoho, we see the CCPA as good news that aligns with our values. In our 20+ years as a company, we’ve never sold customer data or made a single dollar from ad revenue, and we never will. Because we’re not here to make money off of your data, we’ve never made compromises with your privacy or collected more information from you than we needed. We’re proud to continue that commitment to you by living up to the CCPA’s standards as both a business and as a service provider.

We’ve publlished a separate  privacy policy for California residents to show how we’re meeting our new responsibilities under the CCPA. This policy describes the kind of data we collect from you, how we collect and use it, your rights regarding your data, and how to contact us with questions or requests. It also explains our responsibilities as a service provider.

If you’re a California resident, we encourage you to read the California privacy policy. This policy is an adaptation of the general privacy policy for compliance with the CCPA.
