A productive month for Devtac. From the last week of October until November, Devtac had the privilege to attend numerous big events held regionally and nationally. Attending these events gave us an opportunity to network with a dynamic roster of esteemed industry leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, and potential business partners.
5th Hospitality Philippines Conference
Last October 25-26, 2022, the 5th Hospitality Philippines Conference was held at Marriot Manila. This event brought together 300+ government bodies, real estate leaders, financing communities, project owners, hotel groups and independent hotels, architects & interior designers, engineers and contractors, consultants, suppliers, and vendors to explore new investment opportunities and establish business partnerships.
With more than 7000 islands, nine UNESCO World Heritage sites, tropical biodiversity, and a great range of cultural traditions, the Philippines is one of the most attractive destinations in Southeast Asia. The ongoing plan for improved transport infrastructure to far-flung beach resorts and the development of a $6bn complex of casino resorts is expected to create new opportunities for the industry. Hence, encouraging hotels and other tourist spots to invest in their improvements.
ILCDB Partners' Summit
Forging partnerships for the expansion of programs and projects of the Department in Region 8 is the main agenda of the one-day ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bereau (ILCDB) Partners’ Summit. This was organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region 8 held last November 22, 2022 at the Oriental Hotel.
The ILCDB engages in strategic partnerships with local and international institutions to expand the DICT's capacity-building initiatives, specifically in developing and delivering training programs, competency certifications, and standard settings.The event featured a showcase of regionally-initiated projects, a presentation of core divisions and ILCDB projects, and a discussion of proposed areas for cooperation with stakeholders.
Devtac was recognized as one of DICT's partners in expanding the region's capacity-building initiatives toward digitalization.With this recognition, Devtac is more than happy to provide continuous support in empowering our region digitally. It has always been part of Devtac’s mission to help the community the best way we can. Devtac’s diverse team of Software and CRM Architects, Programmers, Web & Mobile Application Developers, and Marketing experts is out and about to take part in the region’s initiative and be able to create an impact on the rapidly transforming platform.
12th Philippine SME Business Expo
The 12th Philippine SME Business Expo (PHILSME) took place last November 25-26, 2022 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
PHILSME is the most anticipated event for developing businesses in the country. This is an avenue to take strategic action to immediately improve and grow businesses. With 100+ B2B solutions, the event takes pride in being the biggest business expo, conference, and networking event for SMEs, Start-Ups, and Entrepreneurs from the country.
The two-day event was overflowing with keynotes and presentations to deliver business-critical information, strategies, and tools to help boost marketing, revenue & business growth plans. This was all made possible by an estimated 7000+ attendees. If I were to describe it, it was a dynamic event full of dynamic people.
Since this was an expo for SMEs, Devtac and Zoho promoted Bigin in the event. We also participated as an exhibitor where we got the chance to network with future clients and partners. As the expo was also promoting digitalization for small businesses, it was a great opportunity for us to convey how our software solutions can be of help in transforming their business processes digitally.
